Anushka Sharma is an Bollywood actor and producer. She is acclaimed for her acting and as one of the best-paid Bollywood actresses. She is also the brand ambassador of several brands, and she has her own clothing line for women which is called Nush. Forbes Magazine has featured her in their magazine as well. Anushka Sharma was born May 1, 1988 in Ayodhya Uttar Pradesh to Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Anushka was born to the retired colonel. She is the daughter of an household worker. Karnesh Sharma is her younger brother. He served in Merchant Navy, and is an entrepreneur in the field of film production. Anushka Sharma has completed her education from Army School, Bangalore and completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Anushka holds a master's degree in arts in economics. Anushka was hoping to be either a model or journalist, not an actor. Anushka was first seen as an actor in the year 2008 on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with Shah Rukh Khan. As a screen test for her, she refused to do an unplanned test and instead took one day to get ready. She was later contracted to do three movies as part of the Yash Raj Films label. She was the young wife of a man who was older in the film (the same role that Shah Rukh Khan played). The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film was met with mixed receptions. Anushka Sharma was in the same movie "Band Baaja Baaraat. The actress played the role of a Punjabi woman in the middle class who owns her own wedding company. The film received a positive review and proved to be an overnight success. Anushka finished her deal of three films in partnership with Yash Raj Films after Band Baaja Baaraat.
